About Kehl:
Kehl is the German neighbour of Strasbourg. The European Bridge connects Kehl to the European city of Strasbourg across the Rhine River. Strasbourg and Kehl are only separated by the garden of the two banks and the new bridge for pedestrians and cyclists called “Passerelle des Deux Rives”. The river became the integral center of a cross-border park with more than 60 hectares of land and extensive walks. On the Kehler Rhine side, the 38-meter high white tower dominates the southern white part of the park. Climb the 210 stairs to the top of the tower and discover a breath-taking view of the Black Forest and the Vosges. At the foot of the tower and along Altrhein, lies the most beautiful game area Kehl with water band, swing, pirate ship, tree houses and a skate park. Since 2017, there a new bridge with the tram lines serving Strasbourg city centre: practical for visiting Christmas market (ne need to seek parking spot in Strasbourg).

Strasbourg
Strasbourg has a lot of international institutions. Thanks to its location just across the German Border, Strasbourg became over the years a strategic city of the European Union. Since World War II, the city stands as a shining symbol of the reconciliation between peoples and of the future of Europe. Strasbourg is also well known for its magnificent gothic cathedral and its picturesque district “la Petite France”. Come in December to enjoy a glass of mulled wine on the famous Christmas market.
